Blast Freezers, the product temperature is negative, while Blast chiller where the product temperature is positive. Blast Freezers/ Chillers are used to reduce the product temperature with specific period of time, ranges from 3 to 6 hours based on product requirement and movement.

Evaporator used in Blast Freezers have high capacity fan motors to provide high Air flow than normal evaporator to increase the heat transfer from Product.
